We understand that agreeing to the terms and conditions of the prototype trial is a big ask, and we genuinely appreciate your willingness to support our small business. Your feedback and insights are invaluable to us as we refine our products to ensure they are both safe and engaging.

STEM Kit Legal Disclaimer and Consent Form

Introduction: Thank you for interest in purchasing our STEM kits. Please read and sign this legal disclaimer and consent form before receiving and using the kits. By agreeing to this form, you acknowledge the nature of these kits and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Description of Kits: These STEM kits may contain unrefined parts that have not been fully tested for safety standards. The kits may include:

Water Bottle Rocket Kit: A launcher, pump and small bottles which are intended to be pressurized with water and air to launch it into the air.
Slime Kit: A kit to make slime using liquid glue, liquid starch, and thermochromic powder.

2. Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk: I understand and acknowledge that:

These STEM kits are intended for educational purposes under adult supervision.
The water bottle rocket kit involves pressurizing a small bottle with water and air, which can pose risks such as high-pressure explosions, projectiles, and water damage.
The slime kit involves the use of liquid glue, liquid starch, and thermochromic powder, which may pose risks such as skin irritation, allergic reactions, and staining. It is important to avoid ingestion and ensure proper handling and cleanup.
I assume all risks associated with using these kits, including but not limited to risks of bodily injury, personal injury, illness, harm, death, or property damage, even if arising from the negligence of Joyful Genius Labs or its affiliates.

3. Informed Consent: By signing this form, I consent and agree to use the kits according to the provided instructions and safety guidelines.

4. Release of Liability: I hereby release and discharge Kara and Quinn Turner with Joyful Genius Labs, its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from or in any way related to my use of the STEM kits, including claims of negligence, breach of warranty, or product liability.

5. Age Requirement and Supervision: I certify that I am 18 years of age or older. I understand that these kits should only be used under direct adult supervision and are not suitable for unsupervised use by children. I will ensure that any minors using the kits will be supervised by a competent adult at all times.

6. Feedback and Reporting: I agree to provide feedback to Joyful Genius Labs regarding my experience with the prototype STEM kits, including any safety concerns or suggestions for improvement. Feedback should be provided through the designated reporting mechanism.

7. Indemnification:

I agree to indemnify and hold Joyful Genius Labs harmless against any claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from or related to my use of the STEM kits.

8. Severability:

If any part of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

9. Governing Law:
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Idaho, USA, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Idaho, USA.

10. Agreement:
I have read this legal disclaimer and consent form, understand its contents, and agree to be bound by its terms. I understand that my participation in using the STEM kits is voluntary and that I may withdraw at any time.
