Welcome to Joyful Genius Labs! We're Kara and Quinn Turner, parents to three curious and energetic children, and passionate advocates for hands-on learning.

In our home, science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) projects are a daily adventure. Our kids' enthusiasm for learning is so infectious that they beg for science lessons and homeschool activities every day - even on days when they've attended regular school! This constant engagement with STEM has become the heartbeat of our family life.

We often hear two questions from other parents: "What's your secret to getting your children so enthusiastic about learning?" and "We're not scientists - how can we confidently lead STEM activities at home?" These questions inspired us to share our approach and create Joyful Genius Labs.

The truth is, there's no secret - just a lot of hands-on fun and a willingness to explore alongside our kids. As for not being scientists? Neither are we! Kara is an analyst with a passion for teaching, homeschooling, and writing, while Quinn is a mechanical engineer. We've discovered that you don't need a science degree to spark a love for learning - just curiosity and the right resources.

That's why we've created our discovery kits. Each kit is designed to guide children, families, and groups through exciting STEM topics, combining engaging stories with hands-on activities. We've done the research and planning, so you can confidently lead amazing science projects at home, nurturing your children's curiosity, problem-solving skills, and love of learning.
